Note: these videos were done for the original release of the Explorer, and some of the details shown here are no longer accurate. Until the new videos are produced, please consult the Instructional PDF's on the Explorer page for more current and detailed information. Here are the main changes: 1) The tripod is now a more standard size and configuration that does not require the set-up time that the original one did. 2) In the video you will see the jib rotate onto its side, for trolley mode, which leaves the tripod in the center and a monopod is then added at each end. This configuration can still be done, but we now recommend that the tripod be moved to one end, and the two monopods to the other end to create a more rigid support system. See the PDF on this for more detailed information. 3) We no longer offer the 3-Arm jib version with a weight bar and traditional weights. It seems that everyone interested in the Explorer is also interested in the trolley system, and this necessitates the 4- Arm configuration. 4) We no longer use two different wheel hardnesses in the Explorer dolly wheels. However, we do continue to space out two of the wheels so they can act as both track and floor wheels. Also, for the dolly, we now have a floor-wheel-only option using a standard 5" floor wheel.
