First off, I LOVE my Porta-jib and flextrack and am thrilled to have the opportunity to give some thoughts and feedback.

I was quoted this month about film making in Albuquerque in Moviemaker magazine and identified as the director of Stiffed, the first feature movie I used my Porta-jib on in October 2008 immediately following my purchase which came after being introduced to your product while "shopping" around at NAB earlier that year. Since then, I've used my Porta-jib and flextrack dolly in three additional features...two I've directed and one I produced...I Heart U (2009) Rags (2010) and Rotgut (2010).

I generally get around to making one feature as director or producer about once a year. My portajib has been INVALUABLE. I LOVE the flexibility, the portability and ESPECIALLY the fact that with a few twists of an allen wrench and some modular components I can have all kinds of different systems...like a low to the floor crab dolly all the way up to a fully extended jib arm with the extra 36 inch extender.

Post takes my team a while, but Stiffed is just now being shopped around to distributors. I will ask some of my team to look through production photos for shots of our portajib in use. We have an award winning team of filmmakers with several feature length movies under our belts and out in distribution. Generally, we make low budget horror or horror/comedy genre pictures.

Thanks Mark!

Best,
Billy
