   PORTA-GLIDE

I am not sure if I was your 1st customer for the Porta-Glide or not, maybe the 3rd or 4th....I first used them on Won Kar Wai's film Blueberry Nights with Nora Jones and Jude Law. The advantage is immediately apparent. The different size wheels cause the flat spots to go out of sync within one rotation and cancel each other out.

BlueBerry Nights....turning 90 on the track gives us reach and leaves room for the actors...
Porta-Glide works either way on this little sle
d.

After BlueBerry Nights I went on to do "Be Kind, Rewind" for Michael Gondry....he likes to move the camera and it seemed like every shot was a dolly shot...but once again the Porta-Glide proved itself...nice and smooth, even with a long lens.

Even with the added weight of the jib the flat spots aren't a problem...

This summer I have been working on AMC's "Rubicon"....the show is about spies and hence requires a lot of long lens shots to give the impression of someone watching...the Porta-Glide is working everyday and consistently gives us confidence....we just know it will work...

Not only is it a brilliant idea, the different diameter wheels, but just as important is the execution of that idea...the craftsmanship and the quality of materials is top notch...you make a great product and I know you stand behind it...

For the last 4 season I have been on "30 Rock" the Tina Fey show on NBC...we are starting our 5th season in August and the Porta-Glide will be right there with us...always the go-to wheels for any move we do...

thanks so much...
